Citibank Collaborates With DOC2US for On-Site Flu Vaccination & Health Screening

In a continued effort to prioritise employee well-being, Citibank has teamed up with DOC2US to introduce an On-Site Flu Vaccination and Health Screening Program in partnership with AIA. This 2-day-initiative demonstrates the bank's commitment to safeguarding its workforce.

The screenings were designed to identify early signs of non-communicable diseases such as cardiovascular diseases, diabetes, hypertension etc. and provide employees with insights into their well-being. By catching potential health concerns in their early stages, employees can take proactive steps to manage their health effectively.

By offering flu vaccinations on-site, Citibank also aims to reduce the risk of flu outbreaks within the workplace. This does not only protect employees but also ensures business continuity and productivity.

Dr. Shanmuganathan, President of the Federation of Private Medical Practitioners' Associations Malaysia, emphasises the timely importance of flu vaccinations, noting the peak seasons from May to July and November to January.

Additionally, due to the flu virus's changing nature, different strains circulate each flu season. Therefore, receiving an annual flu shot is essential to maintain continuous protection against the evolving flu virus landscape.
