Steps If You Think You've Contracted With COVID-19

• Currently, the Ministry of Health Malaysia defined PUI as the following:
  Acute respiratory infection (sudden onset of respiratory infection with at least one of: shortness of breath, cough or sore throat) with or without fever
  AND
  Travelled to / resided in a foreign country within 14 days before the onset of illness
  OR
  Close contact*(refer to the definition of close contact at the end of the article) 1 in 14 days before illness onset with a confirmed case of COVID-19 OR Attended an event associated with known COVID-19 outbreak.
• To know whether you are a PUI, you may carry out an online test for yourself.
• If you’re still unsure or being sceptical, go to Step 2.

NOTE: Only public hospitals can handle PUI and confirmed COVID-19 cases.
只有政府医院可以处理调查患者和确诊病例。

For instance, if you suspect yourself may be at risk of COVID-19, or already in self-quarantine, or hesitate to visit a crowded hospital, then this is for you.

Currently, many private hospitals and clinics provide either COVID-19 test at your home, and/or you have to drive-thru at their facilities to get a swab test done. There is no major difference between these two, however, the home test is usually more expensive but it can be done at the comfort of your own home.

如果你仍旧怀疑自己被感染新冠状病毒、已经进行居家隔离或不想要到拥挤的医院进行冠状检测，那私人界提供的检测服务就适合你。

现在，有许多私人医院、诊所和实验室也提供居家和免下车(drive-thru)冠状检测。两者之间没有本质上的区别——居家检十分方便但也会比较昂贵。

• Healthcare-associated exposure without appropriate PPE (including providing direct care for COVID-19 patients, working with health care workers infected with COVID-19, visiting patients or staying in the same close environment of a COVID19 patient).
• Working together in close proximity or sharing the same classroom environment with a with COVID-19 patient
• Travelling together with COVID-19 patient in any kind of conveyance
• Living in the same household as a COVID-19 patient

新冠肺炎确诊病例近距离接触的定义：

• 医护人员在没有穿个人防护设备(PPE)的情形下接触新冠肺炎患者，包括曾直接看顾过新冠肺炎患者、与患有新冠肺炎的医护人员共事、曾与新冠肺炎患者共处一室。
